A non-sectarian, nongovernmental organization (NGO), which has been working in the Tibet Autonomous region and adjacent provinces of China since 1993. Terma is the longest-running US-based NGO working in the TAR.^^The Terma Foundation creates innovative programs combining indigenous and western knowledge to confront the health crisis now affecting the over six million Tibetans in the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR) and adjacent provinces of China.
